The Doorways of Nicaragua

Grenada, Nicaragua is a charming Spanish colonial city.  Many of the old houses and other buildings in the central city area have charming doorways and windows.
The colorful buildings, many of them in pastel shades, highlight the colonial doorways and windows.
A carriage ride is a perfect way to see the old town section of Grenada.
I think owning the paint store would be a good business in Grenada, as people kept their houses freshly and decoratively painted.
At the back of the cathedral at Sunday morning mass there was a huge stalk of bananas.  I am not sure what it was for, but I am sure it added some pageantry to the ritual.
