Valparaiso, Chile, is a port city north of Santiago. It is colorful and has embraced street art to add character and interest to what would otherwise be buildings that lack intricate architectural details.
Walking around Valparaiso yields surprises around every corner.
I assume that the people who own these buildings have allowed their buildings to be the canvas for the creativity of the street artists who have transformed the city into what they call an "Open Air Museum."
Some of the street art paintings are grand in scale.
Other paintings decorate small spaces.

So colorful -- nice series.
Valparaiso looks as colorful as Burano Italy.
This street art is so interesting and colorful. What a great idea.
This kind of street art, I would actually welcome. Fantastic!
We passed through Valparaiso on a day trip from Santiago to Vina del Mar a few years ago. Didn't see a bit of this. How could we have missed it?
